I have this 1997 caddy and it has been sitting for three yrs i took it to auto zone and it said the transmission shift sensor needs to be replaced so i ws wondering if i can replace that or do i have to replace the whole transmission it runs hot and as u going it will bulg down and then al of sudden take off i think it has a busted head to is there something i can put in the transmission or what i am single with 4 kids and do nt no what to do hopefully yah can help me oh yah its a v8 and northstar motor PLEASE HELP ME
